I really enjoyed hearing 'Valley Road' at the Foggy Hollow, and I continue to enjoy their CD. I have to admit though that after hearing Luke, I was so depressed I went straight home and burned my banjo; Heck, I've been trying for 30 or so years...I've got underwear older than Luke!

Seriously,I had the opportunity to meet the band and spend some time back stage Friday night after they played and I don't believe I have ever meet a nicer, more personable guy than Johnny.... , not to mention his fine arsenal of flat-picking skills! Great vocals and harmony ... I believe this band has a bright future... I hope that they will get more play-time at the next Foggy Hollow on both days.
Best regards,
jack
P.S.: I'll need an extra large Tee Shirt when they are available.. preferably in black..

Saw you guys at Ahava Springs in Sep. A great performance. I bought your CD and Luke's instrumental CD. What about a DVD? The Doctor miscounted Luke's fingers at his birth. He actually has 8 on his left hand. No one has had a chance to really see his right hand. We really enjoyed the show. The Wife and I recently celebrated our 56th wedding anniversary. To God be the glory. Just keep on strumming and we will keep on praying for you. Hope the surgery went well for the big bass man. Hope to see you again in this life. Regards from Cullman.

Hey Guys,

My name is Rich I'm the guy who took a ton of photos of you guys and the rest of the bands that were a part of Music On The Mountain at NACC.

My wife is the one that helped your bass player during the show. My wife and I thouroughly enjoyed listening to you guys. The song you played about the guitarist father was great song. We loved the sense of humor and judging by the poll on your site we're not the only ones. Please don't take the cutting up out of the show its a huge part of the show. I like seeing clean fun on the stage.

Your bass player asked for photos. I'm finally getting the opportunity to send them your way. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. I've been busy with school and life.

You'all sounded Great last night at the Moonsong Cafe; my first time to hear Lloyd with the band... he really adds to an already tight sound. I was happy to learn that you guys will be back on Jan 9th for an encore.

I met several of my old friends, and made some new ones as well.

Peggy says 'Hi', that is was nice to meet all of you and that she will look forward to hearing VR again, but don't let that go to your head, cause she is easily impressed! :)
I can't wait to see the video !

Thanks for gettin' out on a cold, wet winter's night to come see us Jack. It's always a pleasure to see you, but your stock tripled when you brought Peggy with you! You've gotta get her to listen to more bluegrass so she won't be so "easy to impress" next time! (But we still hope Valley Road is her favorite band!)

Thanks for the nice words Jill. You don't know it, but comments like these really keep us going. I was getting a little teared up too. I mentioned during the show that my "big sister" was in the audience. She gave me the idea for the song "He's Not There", and she,my younger (middle)sister and my Mom gave me the inspiration to actually write it. I'l tell you the whole story...next time I see 'ya!

Yep...no divorces here! We'll be playing at 'The Saw' before too long, but it won't be the same without Dewey. Check out our schedule tab. It's filling up, and there's a couple that aren't on there yet. Maybe you could get a hay-trailer full of friends and family to come see us soon! Thanks for the kind words, Ken!

Your performance at the Walk for ALS was outstanding. I was the grandpa on the scooter in front of the stage and I enjoyed your music immensely.

Thanks so much, Vince! We remember you, and we notice when folks seem to be enjoying what we do! We are so glad (and honored) that you enjoyed us, and so thankful to be part of such a worthy cause. KEEP FIGHTING FOR A CURE...DON'T GIVE UP!!!

Your music absolutely lights up any venue! It is impossible to stand still and not dance. Thank you for the incredible sounds but also for your kindness and dedication to the ALS Association and your tremendous help in our efforts to serve any Alabamian with ALS.

Johnny - you and the boys really ignited the audience at the Walk to Defeat ALS in Huntsville! Thank you so very much for your continuing support! My brother came in from Austin TX and was very impressed with our North AL bluegrass - and he's not easily impressed! Thanks again - looking forward to next year.
